THREE DAY TRANSFORMATIVE LEADERSHIP CAMP, 14th - 16th APRIL, 2025

Empowering Young Men Through Purpose, Identity & Comradeship

The Blokehood Project is a transformative leadership camp designed for teenage boys aged 14 to 17. It’s a positive experience that empowers participants to define what grounded and mature masculinity represents to them.

Through eldership, guidance, mentorship, and initiation, we aim to draw out the best parts of masculinity to give young men the skills, knowledge, and mindset necessary to become powerful, resilient, compassionate, and capable men of service, not only to themselves but also to their communities.

The primary purpose of this camp is to create empowering, challenging, and safe environments for participants to develop a deeper sense of who they are maturing into as men.

We take young men away from the distractions in their everyday lives and put them in an outdoor environment that is supportive and informative, passing down skills, knowledge, and wisdom about topics we all wish we had known as younger men. Fun and interactive, young men will go through many fun and challenging activities like tug-o-war, ice baths, team sports, workouts, nature walks, fire making, hot tubs and much more.

This experience is just one of many transitions a young man will face in his life, but it will better equip him to have a greater sense of purpose, a confident understanding of his identity, and leave with a new network of comrades around him as he takes on life.

Camp Location:

This immersive experience aims to empower young men by fostering a deeper sense of self, purpose, and community. This is a camp out experience and participants can bring their own sleeping tent or swag, or we are able to provide this. Please make this known upon registration. All food is provided.

We aim to break down stigmas, foster understanding, and equip participants with the tools necessary to navigate life’s challenges.

We believe that young men often learn too late the purpose of life and who they need to be in it. The lack of connection to what grounded, mature masculinity looks like is stifling men throughout Australia. If understood better and equipped with better skills, young men would have the knowledge and confidence to have better thoughts, make better decisions, and start adulthood with a more positive outlook and a solid understanding of self.

Camp Objectives:

Leadership Development:

  • Equip participants with essential leadership skills that will allow them to lead not only themselves, but their communities. Through activities, workshops and reflection, we instil young men with the capacity to communicate and listen, introduce holding space for the feminine to feel supported and safe, problem solve from a calm and grounded mental state, and make decisions with assertiveness and clear understanding.

Emotional Intelligence Enhancement:

  • Foster emotional intelligence and self-awareness, recognising that effective leadership requires a profound understanding of one's own emotions and those of others. Being accepting and approving of all parts of our inner world, conscious or unconscious so that we can authentically be and feel peace within ourselves.

Mature Masculinity Development:

  • Define concepts of grounded mature masculinity and moving away from adolescent endeavours. We want young men to be of service to himself and others, however that looks right to him. We endeavour to build strong men that are protective, supportive and loving, spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically.

Strong Mind:

  • Integrate mental health education and support, deconstructing damaging stereotypes, and breaking stigmas surrounding mental health issues and providing tools for resilience and well-being. This ultimately to create supportive environments where men are ok to ask for help.

Strong Body:

  • Promote the improvement of health, performance, or well-being by performing small incremental changes to lifestyle. Participants learn to appreciate and experience the importance of prioritising their physical, mental and emotional health through different practices.

Peer Support Network / Comradery:

  • Facilitate the creation of a peer support network, encouraging teens to build strong connections with peers. This sense of community will serve as an ongoing source of encouragement and understanding beyond the duration of the camp. Connect participants with support hubs throughout the community and beyond.

What our participants loved about the camp:

“Building relationships with other conscious and young men, being able to have good conversations about good topics and being able to relate to others. If your hesitant about joining, just jump in leave it all on the field, it will be the best thing you ever do.”

— Mason

“Learn about things blokes struggle with in their life, and being able to conquer all the things that are bad in your life. Just be positive and happy and show gratitude about the life I have. I would recommend this because there are plenty of issues teenagers struggle with and it helps out your thinking and puts you on the right track in the future.”

— Clay

“Meeting new people and learning new things about life and what men actually go through. Met a lot of new people and I was able to be confident in a space of men that can bring happiness and bring on a good mood. It's a great program to learn new things and be a man.”

— Jarred
