Our Founder
Growing up in country Broome, Western Australia, TGI’s Founder, Brenten Wellington, cultivated a strong connection with people, nature, and the ocean.
From a very young age, he learned to be self-disciplined and motivated – leading to the completion of an Environmental Engineering degree – which unknowingly plunged him into what would be the ultimate journey of self-discovery...
From this point forward, he chose to find internal purpose and clarity within himself and his gift to the greater community.
This led to job changes, huge shifts, struggles, and new opportunities that all led to uncomfortable leaps of the greatest growth and transformation.
What remained constant was his ability to seek and discover answers within and his open mind and willingness to learn more. He continues searching for answers in all aspects of his life, learning and growing from each experience. He found life purpose and clarity within himself, and he energetically shares his mission to bring laughter, love, and fulfillment into men’s lives today.
Leadership Camps
Everything he wishes he had known as a young man growing up, Brenten teaches to the young men in his life now.
He has since gone on to develop TGI’s flagship program and transformative leadership camp, ‘The Blokehood Project’. He shares his message that ‘boys will be boys, until men lead them to become men’ through his work as a speaker, facilitating workshops, events, and overnight camps. Brenten supports young men in schools, sporting clubs, government programs, and private group community programs.
“One day you will wake up and there won’t be any more time to do the things you have always wanted to do. Do it now!”
